Dr. Wakim holds a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Rochester. In her PhD, she investigated recovery from addiction in individuals with comorbid HIV using functional MRI and EEG. Her current work in the Cognitive Neurophysiology Laboratory focuses on identifying electrophysiological markers of Autism Spectrum Disorder for early diagnosis and intervention.
