Catherine Sancimino, Psy.D., is a licensed Clinical Psychologist in the Human Clinical Phenotyping (HCP) Core of the Intellectual and Developmental Disability Research Center and in the Cognitive Neurophysiology Laboratory. Dr. Sancimino comes to the HCP with clinical and research expertise in assessment to determine the presence of ASD. Her background includes comprehensive evaluation and intervention in various settings, including within pediatric primary care, hospital clinics, community mental health, public and day treatment schools, and research. In addition to providing neuropsychological testing for clinical phenotyping at the CNL/HCP, Dr. Sancimino consults to foster collaboration between researchers and clinicians at Einstein and Montefiore. She contributes to multiple funded projects at the CNL, including the Autism Centers of Excellence (ACE) grant, which aims to increase representation of autistic individuals with Black ancestry in genetics research.
