Shreya is an MD-PhD student at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She received her undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where she was a Tanner Dean’s Scholar majoring in Biological Sciences and minoring in East Asian studies. Her previous research experiences include telomere biology, neuro-endocrino-toxicology, neurogenetics of hereditary neuromuscular diseases, and intracranial sensory neurophysiology. Currently, Shreya is interested in harnessing extracranial neurophysiology and machine learning to investigate attentional and sensory processing in autism spectrum disorder. Outside of the lab, Shreya enjoys playing through all games in The Legend of Zelda franchise, reading science fiction and fantasy, creative writing, sketching, photography, and living out young adulthood properly with her friends in New York City.
